Voyager Star is ideal for field use especially in governmental environments requiring features such as mobility and capability of handling critical situations in disadvantaged areas. Easy to transport and quick to set-up, Voyager Star can be used just like a mobile office for fact finding and reporting from rural and isolated areas.

DESIGN FEATURES

Easily transportable for field usage, Voyager Star meets most airline companies' requirements for hand luggage. Its dimensions are: 20.7”x17.2”x8.97” (52x43.7x22.8cm) when closed. Weigthing only 31 pounds (14 kg), Voyager Star features an integrated high-end codec, built-in audio/video preripherals, such as a camera, a 10” LCD, a microphone, a speaker, a headset interface, a Smart Card for custom application, an infrared remote control, a GPS module, a PCMCIA wireless Lan card, and a service unit with a 2-row LCD and 5 keys. Its heavy-duty case is waterproof (IP67) and designed to comply with MIL specs. The power supply is developed for AC or DC voltage, and it can be powered directly from a car or an ambulance. Voyager Star is equipped with one double use (built-in or external) camera featuring Super HAD CCD, 10x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom (40x with optical zoom) and a minimum 0.13 lux. Service unit, with 30MIPS RISC microP for check, control and security menu with terrestrial position by GPS module, ambient light sensor to set the LCD TFT 10” brightness, fans speed controlled by codec temperature. Power supply: AC power supply adapter can be used with any AC power source; DC power supply can be used with different sources as a car battery with a cigarette lighter.
